Abstract
Sodankylän lentoaseman ajoneuvotestaus- ja lentotoiminta-alueen yhteyteen toteutetaan Sod5G-hankkeessa Ilmatieteen laitoksen 5G-verkon ja tiesääpalveluiden kehitys- ja pilotointiympäristö, jossa on toimiva 5G-testiverkko, älykkään liikenteen kommunikaatiojärjestelmien testausympäristö 3G/4G/5G, IEEE 802.11p autojen välinen kommunikaatio ja perinteinen Wi-Fi kommunikaatiojärjestelmä. Lyhyen kantaman verkkoja palvelee tienvarsiasemana Ilmatieteen laitoksen kaksi interaktiivista tiesääasemaa. Nämä kaksi tiesääasemaa, yhdessä ajoneuvoissa tehtävien mobiilisäämittausten kanssa tuottavat myös testialueelle tarkan paikallisen tiesääinformaation reaaliajassa.
