•Key research challenge: The goal of the project is to build an autonomous last mile solution to enhance accessibility to public transport main lines, particularly near train station areas.

•Approach/Solution: Aim of the project is to build an autonomous all-weather minibus (Gacha-bus). During the project, the minibus will be piloted in Vantaa, Espoo and Hämeenlinna to gather more information about the advantages, possibilities and challenges of this kind of last mile solution.

•Impact/Value: As a result of the project, there will be the first autonomous minibus, that can handle all kind of weather conditions. The target is also to increase knowledge related to autonomous last mile solutions for public transport.
